The Spa pools THEIA, “The baths of the Etruscans” are fed by water from the Sillene spring; the temperature of the pools ranges from 33 to 36 degrees centigrade. The new spa centre comprises 4 outdoor pools and 3 indoor pools, all interconnected and with a depth of approx. 1 metre 30. In total the surface area of the baths covers 536 square metres. All the baths are equipped with water plays, hydro massage with sun beds, jets of water on the back of the neck and a stunning play on spa water. The pool level and the green outdoor areas are furnished with recliners, sun beds, large umbrellas, tables and chairs and there is a bar offering hot and cold snacks.

Arthrorheumatic mud treatment

An external creno-thermal therapy carried out in agreement with the NHS in Terme Sillene which helps treat rheumatisms, arthritis and post traumatic lesions due to osteoporosis. Aim of the therapy is to reduce pain and improve articular function as well as slow down the development of the damage. The action of heat helps loosen muscles and muscular spasms. Thermal mud used at a high temperature reactivates circulation, reduces puffiness, has positive effects on cartilage metabolism and stimulates the production of endorphins. The ideal cycle lasts 12 days.
